WORKING PRINCIPLE
Based on Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic Induction, a pair of electrodes is installed on the tube wall perpendicular to the measuring tube axis and magnetic field. When conductive liquid flows through the tube, it cuts the magnetic lines and generates an induced electromotive force (EMF), which is detected by the electrodes. The sensor transmits the EMF signal to the converter, where it is amplified, filtered, converted, and digitally processed. The converter then displays the instantaneous flow and cumulative flow on a backlit dot-matrix LCD. TECHNICAL PARAMETERS
PRODUCT ADVANTAGES
1.Simple structure with no moving parts or flow-obstructing components in the measuring tube. 2.Suitable for contaminated media, corrosive liquids, and liquid–solid two-phase flow. 3.Measurement is not affected by changes in temperature, viscosity, density, or electrical conductivity (within a certain range). 4.Output is directly proportional to the average flow velocity and independent of flow regime (laminar or turbulent) under symmetrical flow conditions. 5.Fast response with no mechanical inertia, capable of measuring instantaneous pulsating flow and bidirectional flow. 6.Available in a wide range of sizes for industrial applications. APPLICATION FIELD Electromagnetic flowmeters are widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, food, power, papermaking, water supply and drainage, petrochemical, and medical industries. |
